SPX Discord

The SPX Discord, explained.

Most people searching for an SPX Discord want the same thing: a room where someone competent reads the index every session and shows their work. This page is what Alpha Pod’s room actually is, hour by hour, what it costs, and who it will not suit.

What an SPX Discord should give you

SPX is one instrument. That is the whole appeal of an SPX room: one chart, one options chain, and every member watching the same levels at the same time.

A good room turns that into a shared process. Before the open you know which levels matter and what the bias is. During the session you watch how the person running the room reads price against those levels, and when they take a position you see the reasoning, not only the strike. After the close the result is written down, win or lose, somewhere anyone can check it.

Most SPX Discords fail at one of four points.

  1. 01

    Alerts with no reasoning

    A strike, a direction and a rocket emoji. You can copy it, but you cannot learn from it, and you have no way to tell when the idea has stopped working.

  2. 02

    A curated record

    Winners get screenshotted. Losers get deleted or never mentioned. The room’s history is marketing, so there is nothing to evaluate.

  3. 03

    Noise instead of SPX

    Fifty tickers, memes and a dozen members posting their own calls. The SPX read, if there is one, is buried by noon.

  4. 04

    Silence after the alert

    The alert posts and the room goes quiet. Nobody manages the position out loud, so the hardest part of 0DTE, the exit, is left to you.

A trading day in Alpha Pod’s room

This is the shape of a normal session. All times are Eastern.

8:30 AM
The Morning Note posts: VIX regime, the key levels, the GEX map and the gameplan for the day, with a scenario for each direction. KASM writes it before the open every trading day. One trading day later the same note is free in the archive, so you can read months of them before you join.
9:30 AM
The open. Live commentary on how price is treating the levels from the note, what the VIX is doing against SPX and whether a setup is forming. On plenty of days the first decision is to do nothing, and that gets said out loud.
In session
When the desk takes a 0DTE SPX position, the alert posts in real time with the thesis: the level, the trigger, the risk and what would invalidate it. Commentary continues while the trade is open, through the exit.
4:00 PM
The close. Every position goes into the public log on the performance page with the posted entry and exit, win or loss, scored against a simulated $10,000 model portfolio under a written methodology.
Also inside
The institutional flow bot, the two TradingView indicators (SPX Daily Levels and Institutional Zones), swing alerts and live sessions. The full list is on the features page; the method behind the alerts is on the SPX trading strategy page.

Who it is for, and who it is not

A fit if you

  • want SPX 0DTE as a repeatable process rather than a stream of tips;
  • can be at the screen for part of the session, or want to study the read even on days you cannot trade it;
  • would rather hear why a trade was wrong than watch the loss disappear from the feed.

Not a fit if you

  • trade crypto or small caps, or want a stock-picking room;
  • want to be told what to buy without the reasoning;
  • are looking for fast money. 0DTE options can go to zero in an afternoon, and the room will not pretend otherwise.

If you are weighing several rooms, how to choose an options trading Discord lists the seven checks worth running on any of them, including this one.

Alpha Pod is an educational and informational service and is not a registered investment adviser. Nothing in the room or on this site is a recommendation to buy or sell any security. Options trading involves substantial risk of loss, past performance does not guarantee future results, and you should trade only with money you can afford to lose.

What members say about the process

Three reviews from Whop, quoted as written. The full set, all of it, is on the Whop store.

“OK so the trade alerts are incredible but much more importantly to me, KASM and the other traders in the chat are willing and able to teach. Wins AND losses. KASM will walk through not just his entries and price targets but why. Ridiculously good value even for a newbie.”

“KASM and the other experienced traders are an amazing support group. I have never met trading mentors so invested in the success of each member. They are proven and battle tested and bend over backwards to help you.”

“So glad I found KASM. He is so clear and responsive. Never seen a discord like this. He doesn’t beg you or pressure you to sign up. He had a bad call last week and he took full responsibility. He owned it. I LOVE THAT.”

Questions

SPX Discord questions, answered.

The room assumes you know what an SPX option is and how to place an order with your broker. It is not a beginner course. Every alert carries the reasoning, the Trading Academy and the Morning Note archive are free, and the trial week works well as a week of reading before you trade anything.

Yes. SPX options are cash-settled index options and are exempt from pattern-day-trader rules, so a standard cash account works and there is no $25,000 minimum. Position sizing is still your decision.

Alerts post in the Discord alert channel in real time, with the thesis and the levels behind the trade. Turn on push notifications for that channel and Discord delivers to your phone and desktop at the same moment. Because the Morning Note publishes the levels at 8:30 AM ET, you usually know where the desk is looking before an alert posts.

Yes. The performance page publishes every SPX position from the simulated $10,000 model portfolio, wins and losses, with the scoring methodology. The Morning Note archive is free one trading day after members receive each note, so you can read months of them first.

Inside Whop, at any time, with no email thread or retention call. Cancel before the 7-day trial ends and you pay nothing. Cancel later and you are not billed again at the next renewal.
