Trump's global Iran sanctions plan landed Monday. Bessent had promised an economic D-Day and the package leaves China no exemption, yet crude fell on the announcement instead of rising, with Brent losing 2.5% to $92.06. It slipped again overnight to $91.82, the weakest since August 19, and WTI is $84.60. SPX closed 7,653, down 0.3% on a chip selloff. Premarket 7,688.

For five weeks oil has been the thing that took back every dovish repricing. Payrolls bought a week, the yield reversal bought an afternoon, the Treasury buyback bought one session, and crude climbing back through $90 ended all three. This is the first time an escalation worked the other way, because shifting the fight from the military track to the economic one drains the war premium even while it tightens supply. Yields followed, the ten-year down more than three basis points to 4.70% and the thirty-year to 5.24%. The hedge did not. Gold is at its highest since May, Bitcoin cleared $80,000 for the first time in three months, and September hike odds are back above 40% from roughly a third a week ago. Money is leaving the war premium for the debasement trade, not for equities.

Premarket sits 28 points over the flip at 7,660, positive gamma for the first time since Friday, and above the 8 EMA at 7,687 for the first time since August 18. The call wall is two points overhead at 7,690 and it is the largest node anywhere on the profile, but the band from 7,695 to 7,745 adds to roughly 16,600 against the wall's 4,600, so clearing it pulls rather than caps. Underneath is the thinnest it has been in weeks. Every negative strike below the flip together comes to less than 7,000, and the put wall at 7,650 is only 10 points under the flip with the 21-day and 20-day averages sitting on it.

The lean is long while 7,660 holds, and 7,681 is the better buy than paying up at the wall. Two points of room into the largest node of the day is a pin, not a breakout, and Nvidia carries a seven-session losing streak into Wednesday's print with core PCE the same morning. Clear 7,690 and hold it and there is very little between here and 7,725. Lose 7,660 and the cushion is 10 points, then nothing structural until 7,630.

GEX Profile (Aug 25)

Call Wall
7,690. Two points above premarket and the largest node anywhere on the profile at roughly 4,600, about 1.7 times the next strike. The band from 7,695 to 7,745 adds to roughly 16,600, which is three and a half times the wall itself, so clearing it pulls rather than caps.
Gamma Flip
7,660. Premarket is 28 points over it. Positive gamma, the first morning above the flip since Friday.
Put Wall
7,650. Thirty-eight points below premarket and only 10 under the flip, the narrow-shelf structure again. It is thin: every negative strike below the flip together comes to less than 7,000, against more than 16,000 in the band above the wall. Breaks travel, but there is nothing pulling.

Call wall, gamma flip, put wall — what they mean and why they run the session.
