The 30-year Treasury yield is back at 5.70%. That's Monday's high and the highest since 2002, with the 10-year near 5.33% from a 5.27% close and Brent back over $100. It comes a day after chips carried SPX to its first close above 7,800, up 0.6% to 7,818.93, with Marvell up nearly 6% on a raised 2028 guide. Premarket 7,790, down 29.

Tuesday's rally and this morning's yields have something in common. The FT reported last night that SpaceX is seeking $40 billion to buy Nvidia chips, about $30 billion of it in investment-grade bonds, which would be one of the largest debt deals of the AI build. So the chip demand that led Tuesday gets financed in the same bond market where the long end is at a 24-year high, and SpaceX is down about 2% premarket with Micron lower too. It isn't the Fed. October hike odds are about one in five, and the minutes at 2:00 cover a meeting held two weeks before payrolls printed 29,000. Treasury sells $39 billion of 10-years at 1:00.

Premarket is sitting on the put wall at 7,790, 10 under the flip at 7,800. Both chased the record up overnight. Tuesday's put wall was 7,740 and thin, and this one is more than three times the size with negative gamma at every strike down to 7,775, so price opens on the most reactive level of the day. From 7,795 to 7,810 the sign changes strike by strike, and the real positive gamma runs from 7,815 through the call wall at 7,850. Tuesday never traded under its 7,806 open, so everyone who bought that session is underwater at the bell. Below the block it's prior demand at 7,763, then a 7,750 node nearly as big as the put wall.

The lean is short while price is under 7,800, from a pop and not from the open. A bounce off the put wall into 7,806, Tuesday's low with the flip just under it, is the sale for 7,790 and 7,774. A break of 7,774 clears the negative block and extends it to 7,763, then the 7,750 node. A hold back over 7,819 ends it, since that's Tuesday's close and the start of the positive gamma.

GEX Profile (Oct 7)

Call Wall
7,850. 60 over price and 6 over Tuesday's record high. Positive at every strike from 7,815 up, and the strikes above the wall add up to about twice its size before thinning past 7,870.
Gamma Flip
7,800. 10 over price. From 7,795 to 7,810 the sign changes at every strike and the four net to almost nothing, so the real positive gamma starts at 7,815.
Put Wall
7,790. At price, 50 points higher than Tuesday's and more than three times the size. Negative at every strike down to 7,775, then prior demand at 7,763 and a 7,750 node nearly as large as the wall.
